have you already made up your mind about me
are you sure you’re not up for a surprise
I’ve been searching through the fire
trying to wrestle free from those demons that always follow me
I’d try to convince you but now can see
that you’ve already made up your mind about me
*maybe I can change, maybe I can change, maybe I can change your mind
have you already made up your mind about me,
are you certain that people can’t change
are you trying to tell me we’re all doomed to repeat
all of our histories - there’s no starting over,
so I’ll just let you be -
cause you’ve already made up your mind about me
*maybe I can change your mind

I have been out of the Wilco loop for a while now, but this album has pulled me back in. I adore it. Tweedy and co. know how to write gentle, heartfelt songs while adding just the right amount of unusual synth additions. The second half of the record ends INCREDIBLY strongly. If you've been out of Wilco for a while like me, check it out. BobandoCommando
